Kendall Jenner kreeg kroeshaar van de Amerikaanse Vogue en mensen zijn niet blij

Controverse lijkt overhand te krijgen in de carriere van Kendall Jenner. Naast haar nogal verwende uitspraken, krijgt ze het telkens voor elkaar om mensen te beledigen met de looks die ze aangemeten krijgt bij photoshoots. 

Ook nu is het weer raak. Op dit moment prijkt ze in het novembernummer van de Amerikaanse Vogue, samen met de Nederlandse Imaan Hammam, met kroeshaar op haar hoofd. Terwijl Imaan van zichzelf een flinke bos krullen heeft, werden haar lokken stijl gemaakt en die van Kendall juist gekruld. 

Dit schoot in het verkeerde keelgat op Instagram. Onder de foto die Vogue op het sociale medium plaatste, werden talloze comments geplaatst met de nodige kritiek. "Why did you use a white celebrity for this shoot instead of a person of color who rocks this hair naturally?" En tja, waarom eigenlijk?

Vogue's verklaring is als volgt: "De foto is bedoelt als de romantische Edvardian/Gibson Girl look die past bij de tijd en feeling van de Brock Collectie. We bieden onze excuses aan als het anders over kwam, dan dat we bedoelden. En we hadden helemaal niet de intentie om iemand te beledigen."
