Jil Sander, die ooit haar label in 2000 al verliet om in 2003 terug te komen en daarna in 2004 weer te verlaten, staat nu weer aan het roer van haar eigen modelabel. Haar eerste show op de Milan Men's Fashionweek is net geweest en de verwachtingen waren natuurlijk hooggespannen!
Toen bekend werd dat Jil Sander weer terug zou komen bij haar eigen label had ze het volgende te zeggen: "You have to break rules, if there is a good reason. And now is the right time to be daring, there are few new ideas." Veelbelovende woorden dus. De ontwerpster heeft de afgelopen jaren voor keten Uniqlo gewerkt - dus dit is de eerste keer sinds tijden dat ze weer high fashion doet.
