Candice Swanepoel onthult haar vijf grootste beauty geheimen

Candice Swanepoel draait al heel wat jaartjes mee in de showbizz wereld met als gevolg dat ze in aanraking is gekomen met de mooiste producten en de meest innovatieve technieken. Maar wat zijn nou haar vijf grootste beauty geheimen?

1. Draag oorbellen om je beauty look compleet te maken.
De finishing touch van een mooie make-up is niet rode lipstick maar oorbellen. Zelfs als je niet veel op hebt, kun je er geweldig uitzien met een paar statement earrings.  "Jewelry is always my final touch, because even if you're not 'done,' you still look 'done.' If I only have five minutes, I'll do an RMS concealer under the eyes, around the nose, and on the chin. I'll do mascara. And this Benefit Lip Tint that I have that's liquid. Then I sleek the hair up if it's wet — give myself a facelift — tie it in a bun, and put some earrings on." 

2. Lipgloss is niet de manier om optisch vollere lippen te krijgen.
Er is een beter en mooier trucje om sexy lippen te krijgen. "All you have to do is use a matte lipstick, then you dab a little bit of a light gloss right in the middle of your lips. That does the trick."

3. Droogshampoo is een musthave.
Haar favoriet is die van Klorane. "I've used a lot of other ones, but they have a really strong smell that competes with the fragrance I'm wearing."

4. Voor de inhoud van haar toilettas op reis, kijkt ze af bij vriendin en collega Behati Prinsloo.
 Als je onderweg bent, neem je het liefst zo min mogelijk producten mee om niet al te veel te zeulen. Zo was Candice ook totdat ze de toilettas van Behati zag. "I remember being on a trip once and looking at Behati's vanity bag and it was just huge — just this massive thing with hair masks, creams. What impressed me was every time I traveled, I'd been trying to do these like little travel sizes, whereas this inspired me to just get the big bag and throw everything you need in there. That way you don't have to worry."

5. Geuren laten herinneringen herleven. 
Candice is bijvoorbeeld dol op jasmijn omdat het haar aan haar jeugd doet denken. "We had this massive water tower full of jasmine flowers in South Africa. It's a picture now in my mind, but that's why I like all my fragrances to have a hint of jasmine. Fragrance is like an extension of who you are."
