Het gesprek van de dag in modeland is nieuwe blog When They Were Kids: The Fashion Cartoon Blog met grappige cartoons van de grootste iconen in de modewereld tekent, helemaal in old school strip stijl. Onder andere Karl Lagerfeld en Anna Wintour worden op de hak genomen.
De creatieve persoon achter de cartoons wil anoniem blijven en dat kan maar één ding betekenen: het is iemand die zelf in de mode industrie werkt! Blog Stylecaster heeft de 'Fashion Cartoonist' blogger opgespoord. Dit is wat ze zeiden: "I’m a professional in the industry, so inspiration is really all around me every single day. When people have such creativity, attitude, genius … I really believe it must have shown somehow when they were kids. And so I try to imagine how they could have been.’ He or she also said that, for now, ‘I prefer to hide behind my pen."
