Uiteraard zien we in de collectie duidelijk de stijl van Anderson terug: veel patronen zoals tops met cartoon-prints, sweaters met spoken, maar ook basic items zoals een trenchcoat, een baseball jacket en mooie pantalons. En de prijs is gelukkig nog steeds a la Topshop: niet duur.
Anderson vertelde aan Vogue UK: "I think [this collaboration] still has the same story-telling element [as my ready-to-wear line]. It’s for the same girl and is based upon the same idea. I feel collaborations should be a reflection, not something that veers off into another zone. The high street and the luxury market are inherently close. Without one the other doesn’t exist. I feel like that is modernity now.”
De items zijn vanaf 14 september aanstaande te koop, tegelijk met London Fashion Week. De collectie bestaat uit 55 items, inclusief jassen en schoenen. De tweede collectie van JW Anderson voor Topshop zal begin 2013 in de winkels liggen.
